Have you always wanted to be a singer?

Yes, I have sung for as long as I can remember, my mom has even told me that when I was young I would even sing things instead of saying them. As a result, music has always been a crucial element of my life. When I was 7 years old I first started singing lessons, as a result of my choir teacher telling my mom that I had great potential with my singing and she thought that it would be worth pursuing. And, so my music adventures commenced. I have great gratitude towards that teacher for helping me start my pursuit at such a young age.

Who do you admire most in the music world?

I would definitely say that I admire Sia, Kelly Clarkson, and Katy Perry. All of which are phenomenal singers, songwriters and performers. I also really respect the fact that they are strong women who don't allow the music industry to chew them up and spit them out, but rather navigate through it with intelligence and grace.

What was it like working with the team at Record Plant Records, Patrizio Moi and Dylan Dresdow?

Working with Patrizio and Dylan was incredibly inspiring! Both Patrizio and Dylan are so talented, humble and hardworking it’s incredible. Working with them was such a fun experience at such an amazing facility and I cannot wait to get started on new works with them!

Can you tell us about your new songs?

The EP-Preview release contains the 3 songs: ‘Run Away with Me’, ‘Summertime’, and ‘Letting You Go’. All of these songs were written over the past year and reflect the different phases of relationships. ‘Run Away with Me’ is about the electrifying and exciting beginning of a relationship, whereas ‘Summertime’ is the point when the relationship slowly starts to crumble, and finally ‘Letting You Go’ is the point where the relationship has come to an end and so the only thing to do is move forward. I hope for listeners that by hearing these songs, especially if in this order, are able to relate to the story, helping them to move on with things in their own life.

What’s next for you?

Over the next while I expect to be continuing the promotion of these 3 new songs as well as shooting a music video for ‘Run Away with Me’. I also expect to be shortly embarking on a radio promo tour. So there will be lots of new adventures to come!
